Terms of Business

We do not ask for a deposit prior to work being undertaken and, unless requested by the family or executor, we will forward our account to them approximately 10-14 days after the funeral has been completed.

Payment is requested within 1 calendar month of the date of our account.

However, we understand that, on occasion, things may take longer than that to arrange and we are flexible and understanding in such events.

Please, if that is the case, we do ask that you inform us of this in confidence as soon as possible.

If payment is not made within the one-month period from the account date, and no prior arrangement has been made, we do reserve the right to charge interest of 3% per month until the account is paid.

Ownership

We are a fourth-generation Independent Family owned and run company,  started by my great-grandfather in 1878 and are entirely owned by the family to this day.

Interests

We have no business or material financial interest in any price comparison websites that compare funeral director services and/or crematoria services and their respective prices.

Donations and Contributions

We have made no charitable donations, gratuities or contributions to any third party connected with the funeral sector in the last 12 months.
